Data deletion instructions
How to remove a connected account from OmniPulse, and how to have all of your data deleted.
Last updated: 2026-10-14
Option 1: Disconnect a single account
To stop OmniPulse from accessing a YouTube channel, Instagram account, TikTok account, or X account:
- Sign in to OmniPulse.
- Open Settings → Connections.
- Find the account and choose Disconnect, then confirm.
Disconnecting takes effect immediately. OmniPulse then:
- asks the platform to revoke OmniPulse’s access, where the platform supports it;
- permanently deletes the stored access and refresh tokens for that account;
- deletes the account’s inbox comments and direct messages;
- cancels scheduled token refreshes and alerts, and stops all further data collection for the account.
For a YouTube channel, OmniPulse also deletes the data it collected from the channel (videos, metrics, reports, AI Coach history about it) within a few hours, and never later than 7 days. For other platforms, the analytics already collected stay in your workspace so your history is not lost if you reconnect; to remove them too, delete your workspace (option 2) or email us (option 3) naming the account.
You can also revoke access from the platform's side at any time: for Google and YouTube in your Google Account's third-party access settings, and for Instagram in your Facebook account's business integrations settings. Revoking there stops OmniPulse's access. For YouTube we delete the channel's data 7 days after we detect the revocation (reconnecting within that week keeps it); for other platforms, use option 2 or 3 to delete data we already hold.
Option 2: Delete your whole workspace yourself
- Sign in to OmniPulse as the workspace owner.
- Open Settings → Privacy & your data. You can download an export of your data first if you want a copy.
- Under “Delete your workspace”, type the confirmation text and choose Delete my workspace.
The deletion runs as soon as you confirm. It:
- disconnects every connected account as described above (revoking access at each platform where supported and deleting all stored tokens);
- deletes your workspace’s content, metrics, metric rollups, AI Coach conversations and memory, ideas, alerts, scheduled posts, inbox data, competitor tracking, and settings from our databases;
- deletes uploaded videos and images, generated clips, the archive of raw platform API responses for your workspace, and any data exports you requested;
- clears cached data and queued jobs for your workspace;
- deletes your user account and sign-in details if you do not belong to any other workspace.
What is kept: billing records we are legally required to retain, with the link to your workspace removed, and a record in our audit log that the deletion happened. If your workspace is under a legal hold, the deletion is refused until the hold ends, and you will see that on the page.
Option 3: Ask us to delete your data
If you cannot sign in, or would rather we do it, email info@alexsoftwareholdingsllc.com with the subject “Data deletion request”. Send it from the email address on your OmniPulse account, or tell us the YouTube channel, Instagram username, TikTok or X handle you connected so we can find your data. We may ask you to confirm the request from that address or account before deleting anything.
We complete emailed requests within 7 days and reply to confirm when it is done. The deletion is the same as option 2, or limited to the accounts you name if you ask for that.
If you comment on or message an OmniPulse user
If you are not an OmniPulse user but commented on, or sent a direct message to, a creator who uses the OmniPulse inbox, your comment or message may be stored in their workspace. Email info@alexsoftwareholdingsllc.com with your platform username and we will delete it.
